How hard is it to take care of your skin?

medical- grade-skin- care-line It is actually harder than you think! The bare minimum is to cleanse, moisturize and protect with SPF. But wait, we need to eat well too and make sure we wear sunblock 365 days a year (reapplying a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher every two hours and using proper clothing, hats and sunglasses when needed). Now with so many skin care companies in the world how do we pick the right regime for our skin? Plus mixing and matching products from different brands is ok right? Not exactly. Each brand usually has a step process for clean, moisturize etc. so that chemically all the products work together to make your skin the best version. You need to follow the steps as prescribed to get the optimal effect: beautiful, smooth, tighter skin. If you use them out of step or use another product from another brand as a substitute the result can harm your skin. The mixing is best left to a physician or medical esthetician who knows the ingredients and can quickly review the labels to see if chemicals compliment or react to each other and your skin type.

Skin quality is one of the most important contributors to your appearance, and there are so many factors that play into your skin and overall health: where you live, hormones, medicine, what you eat…. There is a fine balance of in office skin care treatments, medical grade skin products, lifestyle and expectations that produce fabulous results. This is why it is very important to have a medical skin care professional customizing your skin care regimen, so you can achieve healthy glowing skin you deserve.

Did you know that 80 percent of people that think they have sensitive skin don’t? Their skin reacts to skin care products because they are using products with additives and the skin care is not medical grade.

Medical grade skin care products are only available through a physician’s office and have the ability to penetrate through the top layer of skin, into the dermis. Over the counter products only have the ability to work on the epidermis where we continuously shed skin cells, including the products left on the outer most layer. Not only is it imperative to drive these higher concentration of ingredients deep into the skin for true skin corrective results, medical grade products have their own clinical trials published in medical journals and are scientifically tested.

Dr. William LoVerme has created the Synergistic Skin Care Program, a number of skin care products and treatments integral to a healthy skin care program. Our products are medical grade and are very potent to deliver the best results for your skin.
